Track was extended from 850 to 1,085 meters, which is over 235 meters. New twists are made up and down, so that the track is really diverse. Whole track is relayered with asphalt. Even the boxes are decorated anew. In my opinion, this is now the best and most sofisticated track far around and I love coming back to it.
Friday's training was excellent, asphalt was well warmed up.
The race was held on Saturday, which is already in the habit. Training, which I had before qualifications was well exploited.
Pole position in qualifying I missed just for a few tenths of a second and so my prefinals start of the second place.
As it was said in the briefing, start procedure was slightly different, but not so much. The lights were activated gradually and start was very quickly. After a few laps I took the lead and I kept it until the end of predfinls.
The final race was very exciting because I started first. After a few laps started the fight for first place. Because of my mistake I lost the lead. I followed the leader all the time, looking for opportunities to over take him. I was faster from lap to lap. During the whole race I had so much fun because the driver in front of me constantly turning back. Before the finish in the last lap I overtook him and won deserved a trophy.
That was my brief glimpse of the track that became to like me best.
