On the ceremony were the president of AMZS Daniel Starman, President of AMZS sport Boris Kotnjek, which had a ceremonial speech.

We were surprised of the official guest, a representative from abroad, FIM President Vito Ippolito from Venezuela, which has this day paid a visit to us. This was also the first visit by a representative of FIM in our independent Slovenia.

After all the speeches followed the award of state champions in speedway, karting, motocross, enduro, supermoto, vintage motorcycle racing and a high speed motorcycle.

In karting we were invited on stage Valter Smrdelj, Žan Lajkovič, Matic Gorišek, Matija Jurkovič and I, Katja Pivk. All the champions received a crystal vase.

In the end they gave a special recognition. Special recognition for participation in the beginnings of karting received a pioneer of karting Bogo Krenčič.

After the end followed a gala dinner. In the meantime I took a chance and met with Vito Ippolito and Bogo Krenčič. I photographed with them, as well as with Roman Jernejc, who organizes races in karting in our country.

Together with my loved ones, we celebrate for a while, then we took my new crystal award home.

Competitors were divided into three groups. In the first group were 60cc class, ICA 100 and Rotax Junior, Max and Senior. The second group includes drivers of vehicles DD2 class, in the third group were drivers with gearboxes.

Due to very low temperatures in the morning, the contestants had many problems with the ignition, because even though the batteries were full, they didn't give the full power.

The first group was very diverse, as there were many drivers started together and with a flying start. This was mostly a novelty for 60cc category, which usually has a standing start.

After the morning training session was followed by qualification time and then prefinal and final race.

All races have been varied and interesting. Because of the fighting spirit of drivers were quite a few overtaking, trips out of the race and resignations.

The organizer prepared the race very well, they took care for the drivers and they even provide them lunch between the races . For the first three in each category were prepared winning cups and champagne.

The full grant was moderated by Veljko Jukič who praised the good organization of the competitions and effort of Roman Jernejc and his wife Renata, which was filed in this contest.

The speech also had Boris Kotnjek, President of Sport in AMZS. Also, we heard from him praise on completion of the season and good organization of competitions. Competitors are encouraged to do more later in the next season.

This was followed by the award, where Mr. Kotnjek awarded trophies and awards. The top three in each class are getting a rich prize (a bag for a helmet, a set of tires or entry fees for next season). The organizer is really unprecedented effort, thank you Roman! Cups also have been something special, such I have never seen, it really is beautiful.

Even before the event and in between we could see a slideshow of image from the entire season.

Three of the contestants has also received a special award, this is the ticket for the World Cup in Al Ain. We could also see an example of the outfit, which our representatives will be dressed in.

After the event we got something to eat and we had a pleasant chat.
