Saturday's race was different than the others so far. In the morning we had two free training, one more than usual.
I did a great job in qualifications that lasted only 10 minutes. I got the first point of the day. Pole position was mine. I set a good time, because I was only five hundredths of a second behind mr. Pierre who drives Rotax Max Senior. Thats one class higher than me.
Since only two drivers compete in the Rotax Max Senior category, they joined us.
I started the race from pole position in pre-finals. After a few laps I lost the lead. It was very exciting because I was still fighting for first place. Due to the collision during passing, I landed on the grass. I've come back to the track and ended pre-finals in last place.
The final race was a big test, because I had to first overtake all competitors in my category. First of all, I overtook one at the start and immediately on the next turn another one. I spent some time to got rid of two more. Then I tried to catch up with the leader, but I failed, because the distance was too great. So I still reached an excellent second place.
The race was interesting as well as instructive. I got new experiences that will be used during the next race.

In fact, this was the best yet, as it would otherwise be far too much events in Wednesday. I should sign in the high school.
A day off in work for dad, but otherwise an excellent training course. We have set up the last little things that would be needed for the upcoming race. We also talked about plans after the race.
Track was extended from 850 to 1,085 meters, which is over 235 meters. New twists are made up and down, so that the track is really diverse. Whole track is relayered with asphalt. Even the boxes are decorated anew. In my opinion, this is now the best and most sofisticated track far around and I love coming back to it.
Friday's training was excellent, asphalt was well warmed up.
The race was held on Saturday, which is already in the habit. Training, which I had before qualifications was well exploited.
Pole position in qualifying I missed just for a few tenths of a second and so my prefinals start of the second place.
As it was said in the briefing, start procedure was slightly different, but not so much. The lights were activated gradually and start was very quickly. After a few laps I took the lead and I kept it until the end of predfinls.
The final race was very exciting because I started first. After a few laps started the fight for first place. Because of my mistake I lost the lead. I followed the leader all the time, looking for opportunities to over take him. I was faster from lap to lap. During the whole race I had so much fun because the driver in front of me constantly turning back. Before the finish in the last lap I overtook him and won deserved a trophy.
That was my brief glimpse of the track that became to like me best.
We were divided into two groups, between small and large race cars. We rotate the practice every 10 minutes, which was pretty fast. This test was also for speed of the mechanics. I was quite satisfied with car settings.
In the middle of the practice the weather changed quickly so I finished my trening pretty fast. After that rain soaked us that we were wet as a mice.
On the way home we stopped to have a cup of coffee, where we talked with coach about plans for the next training.
